For those of you who haven’t come across this term before, an eNews (short for an electronic-newsletter) is a newsletter that is distributed via an email. It is an easy and affordable way for businesses to keep in touch with clients and customers, as well as sharing their latest news. Today, we thought we’d share our top five ways that an eNews can help grow your business.
1. Increasing brand recognition and reputation
Sending a regular eNews can increase the visibility of your business and help make your brand a household name. By sharing tips, tricks and information that can help your readers, you are enhancing your business’s reputation as a leader in your industry.
2. Keep your name in the front of the market
You’ve heard the saying “out of sight, out of mind.” Many potential client or customers may come across your business at a time when they’re just not ready to buy. Sending a regular eNews can help keep your business in their mind. It can also increase repeat business from previous customers or clients by reminding them of your service or product.
3. Increase traffic to your website or social media page
An eNews can be an effective way of encouraging readers to visit your website. Ensure that your news and articles link back to your website so your readers can easily find more information. Your eNews stats can also measure what people click through to – a great way of finding out if your site pages or articles are of interest to your readers.
4. Share the latest news
An eNews is a simple way of keeping your clients and customers up to date with your latest news. This can be particularly useful if you have a sale or marketing event coming soon that you would like to advertise.
5. Decrease marketing costs
We like to use Mailchimp when we design eNews templates for our clients. It allows us to create and send beautiful emails to our client’s and, best of all, this service is completely free if you have less than 2,000 subscribers on your mailing list!
So if you don’t already have a list of client email addresses, start collating it now and plan to send some regular eNews this year.
