Project Manager / Web Sales Representative - Tailem Bend

We are currently looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a fantastic eye for design to work alongside our current project manager in a project management and web sales role.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for sales and for helping businesses. Following on job and off-site training (if necessary) in web services and design, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities and following up on business referrals.

You will be accountable for securing new business as well as post-sales follow up, and will ultimately be expected to take responsibility for either whole projects, or areas of projects within the business.  This will involve liaising closely with clients, recommending appropriate business solutions and working closely with our IT specialists, to resolve any potential issues and to ensure development is carried out correctly as required by the client.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue your career through training and certification. 

Responsibilities

• Making and receiving calls from customers
• Sharing product and service knowledge with potential clients
• Compiling and sending out quotes
• Maintaining contact with clients and building an ongoing relationship
• Conferring with customers and our IT specialists to determine layout design and content.
• Developing web solutions based on the specific needs of each client, and on current best practice web development principles.
• Maintaining, updating and recommending improvements to existing web projects.
• Keeping on top of market trends and promoting products and services accordingly

Desirable Traits

The following traits will be highly regarded but are not essential:
 

• Sales experience and or training
• Web design and development skills
• Experience in a rural or regional business
• Good copywriting skills

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Excellent project scheduling skills, including good documentation and time management skills
  • A fantastic eye for design, a keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail
  • Exceptional computer skills
  • A professional and positive telephone manner
  • The ability to understand client objectives/expectations and to tailor the development process accordingly
  • A high level of initiative and the ability to think creatively to resolve issues
  • Strong motivation with a passion for helping businesses and ensuring that client expectations are met
  • A high standard of integrity and honesty, and
  • The ability to:

> work collaboratively and effectively within a project team environment and also to work independently when required
> pick things up very quickly and to work conscientiously displaying a high level of effort and commitment
> work on and prioritize multiple projects to ensure strict deadlines are met
>follow established processes and procedures

Education

Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded, however a large dose of enthusiasm and the ability to pick things up quickly are a must!
