Currently looking for:
Web Designer
An exciting opportunity to join our fast growing business in Tailem Bend, SA.
BizBoost is always looking for highly motivated, passionate and reliable team members with proven skills in web design to join our team.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for client liaison, design brief preparation and the development of websites in conjunction with the design team.
Essential Duties
- To confer with customers to discuss and determine website design and content.
- To work with a team to turn designs into HTML and CSS websites.
- To develop sites using content management systems
- To train clients in the use of content management systems
- To review existing web projects and recommend improvements
- To be responsible for Search Engine Optimization, FTP publishing and full testing of functionality of websites
Technical Ability
To be considered for the role you must have the following:
- Excellent proficiency with Macromedia Dreamweaver
- Skills and experience in developing sites using content management systems
- Proven HTML, CSS and PHP experience
Good copywriting skills will be highly regarded
Personal Abilities/Aptitude/Skills
The successful candidate will
- have excellent communication skills – both verbal and written (including spelling)
- be conscientious and display a high level of effort and commitment towards work
- have a keen eye for quality and exceptional attention to detail
- be able to work on and prioritize multiple projects to ensure strict deadlines are met
- have the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- have highly developed problem solving skills
- be able to follow established processes and procedures
Education
Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded, however a high skill level and a strong sense of enthusiasm are a must!
